I'm really looking forward to Foo Fighters (maybe with some guests) followed by the end of Shy Girl and then all of Sparks and Fever Ray at The Park. Will be a perfect evening for me.

It's buggered up my plan to see The Lottery Winners in Avalon. I know they are playing multiple other times but that feels like the one that will be really special.

But I'm seeing them in Birkenhead in August so Foos it is.

Played new Foos, and then made a big point of saying 'interesting wording from Dave on insta this week, talking of 'churning up emotions'. Sounds familiar but I can't quite work out what it would be - oh yes, The Churnups that are playing Glastonbury! I've certainly never heard a song from The Churnups before, but maybe I'm just out the loop...' 

Certainly felt a strange tangent to go on from someone who is quite likely to be in the loop through the BBC, though she could be playing alone, who knows

That's the upside for me, not bothered by FF, so will now get to see Jamie Webster and lottery Winners at Avalon. I was forgoing Thom and the gang so I could get a good spot for Pulp. Silver linings and all that

Also, surely anything higher than pre-sub doesn't really fit with the 'spirit' of the secret set. The whole point of one of the models of SSs is an artist/band playing 'out of position' - e.g. Killers in JPT. 

Of course, FFs are only a headliner atm if scheduled, but sub would feel 'wrong' to me for them as a secret set.

Royal Blood acting as a firewall to protect the Arctic Monkeys. Both will be blown off the stage by Foo and the lads, but Royal Blood will take the hit.

Given they're total Aunt Sallys at the moment the whole thing is pretty amusing.

Didn't Emily say this year there is flexibility to move slots for bands? Would make sense to swap RB and Food round but this is mainly selfishly for me so I can see Courteeners too

I didn't really know anything about them before that but now I'm really looking forward to a huge crowd leaving after the foos, and then coming in for AM.

Designed it pre DG post so now the Pulp font is looking a bit silly but least the logo will make sense.
