Hi everyone!!! Very excited to be getting there in a couple of weeks!! I would love to hear people's queuing experiences from past years- what time did you start queueing, what was it like in the queue, what gate you were at and what campsites you ended up in!!!

Buzzing to see you all there soon!!!

Last year we got the coach, got there just before the gates opened and queued for quite a long time (few hours). Take plenty of water, sun cream and hat for the queue, so easy to get caught out and burnt on that first day as there’s no shade in the queue

Unless you want to camp in a specific spot and are happy with being in one of the fields further out aim for Wednesday afternoon.  The queues will have mostly subsided why then and there will still be plenty of space to camp, especially if not in a large group.

I reckon arriving any time after 10am Wednesday will see you avoid the worst of the queues - an hour at worst.

Take me back to 2005 and 2007 when you could just stroll in at 9am Wednesday and have the place pretty much to yourself the first few hours.

Worst queue was 2016 due to the pre festival mud. Took 12 hours or more to get there from Manchester.

Would only do the overnight queue again if I wanted to get in one of the most popular campsites
