Tuesday arrival

Hi,

Are stewards strict about the Tuesday 9pm car park public car park opening? If you turned up at say 8pm would you be let in or would you have to wait and form a queue (will there already be a queue?) or have to leave the entrance and return later?

I think you'd be fine. Last year they advertised 4pm opening because of the train strikes and in practice some people were let in to the car parks around midday. The reality is they can't leave cars sat on the road waiting to get in so if you turn up you'll likely be admitted.

Sorry I have just seen your reply!

A friend has said every year they unofficially open the gates to public car parking earlier than what is advertised so I should have no problems getting there earlier…
