CV East - entry/exit with 'Pass Out'

Hi,

Last in CV Fields in 2019 and like other years they were operating the somewhat tedious 'pass-out' system, where you have to show your ticket at PGC on every entry along with a pass-out slip given to you on the previous exit.. Was this still operating in 2022 and likely to be the same this year.?

Having the ticket about your person is fraught with the danger  of loss of course.. and (whilst it has only happened once) one year a member of our group lost his and was subject to a grilling in the security portakabin on HoD (basically questions about the locale of his postcode etc..)

As mitigation I have since taken a photo of each ticket and shared it with the group by way of evidence as needed.. Not sure whether this is a good idea or not.?  Anyone else have 'lost ticket' experience.?

Same Pass Out system still exists.

We photograph tickets as you do but also have a strict protocol of stashing tickets and pass outs into a zip trouser pocket immediately we're past gates in either direction. Only 2 of us though so that might be tricky if you have a big group that often splits or goes through the gate separately.
