Is it possible to travel back to London after the Friday evening finishes?

I know I could probably research this myself, but wondered if anyone has had to get back to London after the last band has finished on the Friday? Looks like The Human League will be on until nearly 1am, so might aim to leave the site around midnight. I normally come over on the Red Jet from Cowes, and then would be looking to get a train from Southampton. Even if transport does run late, does anyone have any experience as to how busy it is likely to be - I don't want to get to Cowes and find a queue a mile long, and then have to wait until the Saturday morning to get the next available crossing!! Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

I've done this once on the Saturday and it was to Pompey from Fisbourne. It was ok, wasn't a huge queue or anything, but felt super rushed.
