Motorhomes and tent size.

Hi, 

We're in a motorhome for the first time and planned on bringing a tent. How strict are they on the size of tents. I've just checked the dimensions and it's larger than I thought. 

It's a tunnel tent at 320x465. We plan to use it as an awning at the side of the van. 

Do you think this would be ok?

I would imagine so...I(as do lots of others) bring a caravan with full awning and also a tent.. Let the stewards know when you are parking up..

out of interest... where are your tickets for (CV East Quiet / General / Bath & West).? and when do you plan on arriving?

Campervan East general. Planning early evening on the Tuesday.

If you had said East Quiet on Thursday evening, then they may be trying to squeeze you onto the end of a row but i imagine that Tuesday would see the fields more than half full... Make sure you wander round to the top of the Hill of Death with a beer to take in the view once you are set up.. it is quite a sight

We'll definitely be heading to the hill. Im hoping it's not too bad, we did big chill years ago and that hill was huge back to camp.

Otherwise known as the 'Slope of Mild Inconvenience'... its not too bad at all.. certainly nothing like the trek up to Worthy View seen here
