The 5-day wait, the video teaser (opposed to just a picture like last year) and that “you are not ready for this” slogan make me think this is going to be their most glorious lineup ever. Hope I’m not setting myself up for disapppointment.

Expecting Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. I Suggested earlier but was shot down by the Karol G, PJ and Pulp crew because they have no confirmed dates or confirmed tour 

new album being finished, likely out before summer.. always seems to play PS on tours, fit PS perfectly.

They tend to play PS the same years as The National (2018, 2022), so maybe we'll get both of them again next year.

i am not into marketing that much to figure out if announcing a big headliner in advance could be seen as a defence move against a weak line up or a power-move to maximize profits on a strong set of names

Which is pure coincidence. Why would PS 2024 wanna look exactly like WE1 2022 or 2018? If there even is a Nick Cave tour which there are zero indicators for as of now

I meant a lineup announcement teaser, not the lineup drop itself. Last year it was just this iirc

I hope you're right and I'm also excited but then again, their slogan is not going to be "we think you'll be pretty OK with this". 

It could be their worst lineup ever and I reckon they'd still market it as a good one so we shouldn't read too much into it.

At Quadrophobia: It was just a meaningless observation from my part, I didn't mean to suggest that there is some conspiracy going on. I personally think only The National will be there.

We always talk about Denzel Curry playing this festival. No signs of him being active but I want him.

Also still on the Justice train despite 0 evidence.

Would also love to see Ichiko Aoba there, her most recent tour was beautiful. Troye Sivan, Kim Petras, Johnny Jewel, Donny Benet, Jai Paul, Sault are all on my list.

The list of desires is endless and ignores reality.

There was. It had the woman walking up to the Cupra and look at her reflection in the window. the announcement video then picked up there to show her digital twin and they were racing with a voice announcing the line up over that.

Every year I hope for 1 or more of Denzel Curry, Freddie Gibbs and Anderson .Paak (solo). We'll eventually get them I'm sure. 

I also really hope Danny Brown is back. I still think he's the most interesting artist in hip hop and a very good live performer. Sounds exactly like he does on albums and has stage presence which is somewhat rare for rappers.

I think having Bad Bunny is much more probable, I actually believe at this point that Bad Bunny might be a possibility
