Frome - Castle Cary train

Hey All! 
 

for those who have maybe done it….
 

how is the first 7am wednesday train from Frome to Castle Cary? is it rammed or fine to get on? 
 

i know its the same train as the 1st from Bristol

I can only assume (my last Wednesday 7am train boarding was 2009, @ Westbury so couldn't have been a train from Bristol) that it will be incredibly rammed.  The train will still stop, and you'll maybe have some grumpy people blocking the doorway telling you there's no space, if so you'll have to push your way past so the less stuff you've packed the better!  Don't expect a seat and be thankful that it's a very short journey.

yeah we’re anticipating it being v busy, as the first train from Briatol changes at Westbury before heading onto Frome, 

i just thought that if no chance of getting on we could also jump on a bus, 

we’ll try our chances and charm people to move into the train to make some room 😂😂😂

Not aware there is a bus… taxis in Frome also as rare as hens teeth

I think there is a bus service (with one change) from Frome to Castle Cary, but it seems pretty long and stops a 10 min walk short of Castle Cary 😆

I now have a mate who think we won’t even be able to get on a train from Frome that early, surely it can’t be THAT bad?! 😂 we have beaten the first train from London….
