Splitting hairs if you're gonna get upset by temps of 22 rather than 25 really. Another cracking run.

Built in fears that if this one isn't quite as good the same might happen to the next, and the next, and the.....

Big time, you want headline billing at the top of the page for the sweet, sweet validation of those likes

Th general trend is edging towards high pressure in the recent ensembles so don't worry to much at the moment

Guarantee tomorrow morning we will be back in sh*t town. Then by midday basking in heatwave like conditions again.

It's why the ensembles are a good barometer as it gives all outcomes plus the mean

Coldest start to June since 1991 say Look North 🥶

Well you are looking north to us and it’s been bloody freezing here apart from a few days. Today however it’s t shirt and shorts weather😉😊

Off tomorrow from the States.  I’ve sacrificed bag space with packed wellies, jackets and such.  Doing my part.

Same here (although I leave tonight)

wellies, rain jacket, waterproof pants, hat, extra socks... all taking up too much space in the bag to appease the rain gods

The ensembles are starting to look great, we're begining to start seeing some minor clustering over the festival period, seems to be narrowing down on high pressure, upper air temps are still abit over the show but should start to see those lock in over the next week. ECMWF 12Z run has us potentially almost approaching 1030mb high on Friday 🤞

Eyes are definitely going to be on the cut off low pressure system out in the atlantic over the next 7 days to see where its postioning ends up, if its favourable we could see it even acting as a heat pump drawing temps up even more.

But again still too early, even more so at the 10 day!!

Ok, we had a good run on the 06Z. Can we get it firmed up on the 12Z? Let's find out!

THROUGH TO GATES OPEN

We're now starting to get into the period of more certainty for the weekend, and yet again there effectively no rain in the forecast. What is there is basically very light for a short period (also a couple of patches of drizzle Monday and Tuesday). It looks like there's no danger of a churn up before the gates open.

GATES OPEN & WEDNESDAY

Dry for gates open, temps of 19-20.

Completely dry through the day with highs of 23-24.

Overnight into Thursday, 15-16.

The high pressure isn't quite as in demand in this run (on the right), though it's not too much different. How will it develop?

THURSDAY

Completely dry on site, but there is a very small pocket of light rain out to the east in the early evening. Highs of 24-25.

Overnight into Friday, 15-16.

This is more danger from low pressure from the north on this run (on the right).

FRIDAY

Completely dry (ignore the wispy blue) with highs of 24-25.

Overnight into Saturday, 14-15.

Good news! The high pressure is now winning the battle. As you can see on the right, we've moved into a deeper red. But will it last?

SATURDAY

Completely dry (ignore the wispy blue) with highs of 21-22.

Overnight into Sunday, 10-12.

image.thumb.png.8ed34416647574d5190b407f74eb1e25.png

High pressure is in a very similar place to the last run, though temps are a few degrees down.

SUNDAY

Completely dry with highs of 21-22.

Overnight into Monday, 12.

The low out in the Atlantic isn't as threatening (right), which is good to see.

SUMMARY

Not quite as good as the last run, but still bloody great - and many people will appreciate the slightly lower temperatures on the weekend.

You are doing the lord's work.
