Indeed they are - and as long as there is no wind to whip the cold air up 16 isn't that bad if the sun shines.................. if the sun does not shine then it will feel cold out of the crowds.

It'll be chilly in the evening/overnight no matter what (based on the latest runs) which is a bit of a bummer but still, better than the wet stuff.

Think I messed up my post above - still learning the ropes here sorry - but how safe are we from a mud bath do we think?

With the site current dry and dry for majority of the build, and not much rain scheduled before Wednesday, is it safe to say the only thing that could cause a lot of mud now would be torrential rain during the festival itself?

A couple of hours of fairly heavy rain would make the site muddy even if there no rain between now and it starting.

Caveat though with a warm June sun it soon dries out with the excellent drainage on site

I think I can deal with chilly temps, even overnight, just don’t want to have the face the hell of a mud bath but I’m hoping that’s increasingly unlikely considering how’s it’s been and how it’s shaping up at the moment - even if it is a little underwhelming

Yeah, the thunderstorm on Thursday night in 2009 was fairly spectacular, but apart from the odd muddy patch in the shade, site held up remarkably well and I remember sitting in grass in the park all afternoon on Friday in lovely sunshine. So, definitely not a certainty that any substantial rain automatically turns the site into a quagmire.

Yep, I remember wearing wellies in 2015 then trainers the next day (think it was 2015 anyway).

Totally agree , you can always put a few layers on .

If the ground is not destroyed then I can live with a bit cooler !

Couldn’t care less about temperature, 0 degrees to 50 I’ll wear some clothes or some other clothes, dry is what we’re after, a successful run it is then 🌞 🌈

Be great if we don't all end up in A&E though!

How can you go from 26 degrees to 16 degrees in a day !

guess it will jump up again tomorrow!

This thread has reminded me why forecasts a week in advance can’t be taken  serious !

all part of the fun I guess though !

I'm not enjoying this at all any more. Even when the forecasts are good. And yet ...... here I am
