briddj
What a day we've had. What. A. Day. Can it really continue? GATES OPEN & WEDNESDAY Dry, and it's scorching again at 20-21 at 9am! There is some rain back here on the 12Z, but not the heavy stuff out to sea. Highs of 23-24. Overnight temps into Thursday of 16-17. Pressure picture not as good here with that pocket off the coast of France causing the rain. Latest on the right. THURSDAY Definitely not as good, as the rain you see moving north here has hit the site on Friday morning. Could be heavy. But it is then dry through the rest of the day. Highs of 19-20, significantly down on the last run. Overnight temps into Friday of 14. And definitely a downgrade in the pressure picture, latest on the right, with that low pocket still off the coast of France. But hang on! It is reducing in size!! FRIDAY Risk of some afternoon showers, but nothing of note. Highs of 21-22. Slightly up on the last run. Overnight temps into Saturday of 13-14. Pressure picture on the right is slightly weaker, but nothing of note. SATURDAY Same story as Friday. Chance of very, very light showers. Highs of 20-21. Slight upgrade on the last run there. Overnight temps into Sunday of 12. Certainly a weaker picture for pressure, but nothing to worry about on this run. SUNDAY Ignore the rain in this image. It's so small you wouldn't notice it. But highs of just 18. A downgrade. Overnight temps into Monday of 12. High pressure is starting make a comeback, but later than the last run. Latest on the right. SUMMARY A slight downgrade due to the rain around on Thursday, and the high pressure not making the same inroads. But still, this is another big win considering the charts 24 hours ago. Plenty of time for things to improve yet further! 1 3
