Will the GFS finally relent, or still try to keep us in April on some days? Let's find out!

 

GATES OPEN & WEDNESDAY

 

Completely dry, highs of 21-22.

During the day there's some very, very light showers but in temperatures of 25.

 

Overnight temps into Thursday of 15-16.

THURSDAY

 

Completely dry, highs of 18-19, slightly up on the last run.

 

Overnight temps into Friday of 10.

But pressure is not in such a strong position. Latest on the right.

FRIDAY

 

Completely dry, highs of 18, slightly down on the last run.

 

Overnight temps into Saturday of 9-10.

Very, very similar pressure picture. Latest on the right.

SATURDAY

 

Completely dry, highs of 17-18, two degrees down on the last run.

 

Overnight temps into Sunday of 11-12, slightly up.

Pressure picture marginally better off, latest on the right, and will it build in? Would explain the slight better overnight temps.

SUNDAY

 

Completely dry, highs of 17-18, same as the last run.

 

Overnight temps into Monday of 11, three degrees down on the last run.

Very similar pressure picture. Latest on the right.

SUMMARY

 

The GFS isn't totally playing ball on the temps, but yet another totally dry run. Only three more of these to go!

Just set up on site now. Regretting taking the mallet out of the packing pile last week now. If it carries on like this until Wednesday you might need hard ground pegs!

I cleaned mine last week. The wife asked me why I bother as only going to get dirty again.

 

I told her not to worry about wiping next time she went to the toilet. Same logic.

 

She's filed for divorce since, unfortunately.

Can't believe how brill the forecasts have turned out. It's amazing what can happen when a bunch of people suffering extreme anxiety literally beg the universe and the weather Gods to make things right. Sacrificing first born child, etc, but SO worth it.

Having done this several times I now go with first born remaining child, but it's worked for a few years now
