Euphoricape
Let's hope to the weather gods that this mornings run is a massive outlier.. Will be fine by midday again I expect.

AdrianH
Very poor GFS run this morning unfortunately. Low pressure breaks through and then sits in our vicinity for the entire festival
kemosabe
I can only blame those of you who were moaning about it being "too hot". I hope you're all happy with yourselves.
briddj
After a really good (shock!) 18Z, will the 00Z be our friend too? THROUGH TO GATES OPEN Light rain on Saturday, and then temps of 21-22, 24-25 and 24-25 at the start of next week. GATES OPEN & WEDNESDAY Completely dry, and roasting at 20-21 degrees at 9am! It's dry most of the day but with some light rain, highs of 25-26. But look out west... That is threatening a heavy downpour late into Wednesday night.... Overnight temps into Thursday of 17. THURSDAY Rain around in some form for most of the day, highs of just 16-17. Overnight temps into Friday of 12. This run, on the right, has a bubble of low pressure plonking itself over the south west. FRIDAY Rain clears and a dry day, highs of just 17-18. Overnight temps into Saturday of 14. SATURDAY Dry other than maybe light showers, highs of 18-19. Overnight temps into Sunday of 14-15. High pressure never builds in, as with the previous run (left). SUNDAY Showers around most of the day, highs of 19-20. Heavy rain around in the early hours of Monday morning. Overnight temps of 15-16. SUMMARY Massive outlier! Aaarrrrggghhh! AdrianH
Looks like the GFS has some support from the UKMO judging by this (only goes out to Wednesday). Not as horrific but the high pressure doesn't get established. Hopefully the ECM hasn't switched too

AdrianH
ECM is better but the low does meander up to us by Friday. Hopefully this is just a blip - I suspect the GFS operational will be an outlier but not great that other models show some support
Jacko45
That wouldn't be disastrous but just a real dampner, jumpers and coats and drizzle isnt on anyones wishlist. Surely surely it can't go back up to 20c+ for ONE fecking week then back to rubbish, it's nearly July.

AdrianH
The GFS op is a big outlier as expected. Definitely a messier situation now though - hopefully some improvement in the 6z!
Sheffield Steve
Unfortunately the midnight run of the ECM has also thrown a bit of a wobbler. everything is fine and dandy on Wednesday…. but then it also brings a low in on Thursday with some heavy bursts of rain .. This produces some heavy rain on Thursday night, before clearing to showers on Friday… Lets just hope this is all a blip in the space time continuum…and it will have all disappeared by this evening… Edited June 19 by Sheffield Steve

NotAnInsider
Warm & dry are still the most favoured options on both GFS and ECM at the moment. We're still way too far out for looking at deterministic output at the moment. Met Office took a good look at the multiple models in a video yesterday which is worth a watch.
