Just because Fender is playing arenas doesn't mean he can't sell out stadiums. He already has. Quite normal to do an arena tour then some stadium show the following summer. Also he could choose to do multiple arena nights (or not to create a high demand/ hype for future stadium shows). -
I'd agree with the above. 2023 was my only coach experience. It was a resale success which meant a Wednesday afternoon coach. Pros - pretty much door to door service (obviously depends how far you live from the pickup as well). Met a handful of new/sound people on the coach. The gate drop off Cons - limited on what you can take (what you really need is someone to kindly take your tent & out it up + take some beer, if they're extra kind). No real control over times (going or coming home)

You could offer to take one of his friends with you if it’s free so they can go on on adventures? Cinema, Greenpeace kids, circus and circus skills, photo treasure hunt ( eg - they have to find certain places or performances on site and take a photo) for a prize, tree walk etc. He might just enjoy showing a friend ( or cousin etc) around and re-ignite his excitement about Glastonbury? Just a thought.

If it’s Olivia and Fred, I’d say that makes Sam Fender extremely unlikely. There’s no weight to that trio, and they’ll want a bigger send-off into the fallow.

I reckon 'arena level' isn't really a good indicator of Glastonbury headliners potential. Multi-shows per arena yes. Examples from the Manchester AO arena listings: James Blunt, Toto, Jacob Collier, London Grammar, Black Stone Cherry, The Human League, The Corrs, Gabrielle, The Wombats, etc. I don't think so! Hope we're above that level!
