One of my friends has been going since the mid-90s but tends to do one on one off as it keeps his interest going (as it were....) -
Theyre far better at night so hopefully it would be a headliner slot.

I've only ever seen them once before (Glasgow QMU, NME brat Bus Tour, onstage first before Campag Velocet) and I've obviously got prejudices about them, but I actually found their willingness to look ridiculous (dressing up as aliens) endearing. Maybe it helped that the designs were quite Pete Fowler but it actually reminded me a wee bit of the Super Furries. Plus Arabesque was genuinely a 'Have some of this you slaaaags' moment. -

I worked at the festival in 2019 and ended up on some shifts with a guy who'd been going since the late 80s....he really did have some good stories about how different the festival was back then. Bit like @incidentI've been toying with taking a year off as I feel I'm going a bit out of routine now...but we just had two friends from home come for the first time this year and they are on board for 2025 so looks like I've got another one in me before the fallow year and will then play it by ear after that (see how my life situation is at home etc) Interesting what @MrHew said after having 5 years away.....might make me fall in love with it again. -
Makes for a much better festival when you wake up with your tent slashed and your money stolen. Loved the year a load of people got shot aswell.
