You'll stir the masses if you're not careful... and they will all say Fresh and Black

Found the specific tent topic. Will be visiting Decathlon soon by the sounds of it! 😁

I've spent a fortune on new bedding for the campervan. Ended up buying some of the duvalay extra sheets, then buying foam from foams4u, single duvets, straps etc. it could end up really good and saved myself several hundred squids, or I'm a mug. Either way, bouji bedding is happening.

We just got the Panda Topper - it's amazing. Feels comfier than my bed at home

Taking a duvet and pillows to camping festival is a true game changer, we even use a fitted sheet on the sleeping mats.

Duvet rather than sleeping bag ? How do you pack that ? Surely bulky

A duvet isn't much difference to a sleeping bag isn't it? Just not usually packed down so much.

Not tried it but I assume you could vacuum pack it relatively small.

Yeah guess not … although obviously the stuff sacks help them condense pretty well

fitted sheet, pillow and duvet all in a vacuum bag shrinks considerably. Get a little rechargable bed pump to shrink it down again for return journey.

My crappy pound shop vacuum bag split last year before I could repack it, but its easier on the way out as all the drink has gone

These guys pumps are unreal, some just a little bigger than a tube of Smarties and can pump up airbeds pretty easily.

Oh aye, where's that?

Not that I wish to do likewise obviously 😉

This is cheating a bit, but there's a few on here: https://twitter.com/search?q=Glastonbury balance&src=typed_query&f=live

I genuinely don't get it. I had mine paid by about noon on the 1st, and that was the latest I'd ever left it.

Please update on the duvalay setup. I have looked at them intensely for weeks at a time then never gone for one.

GREAT INTEL. Thank you. I'm going to go and take a little walk to M&S after tea to stock up on your recommendation!

A surprising amount on reddit.

Oh aye and some getting their issue resolved, which I hadn't heard of before - but not surprising it's kept quiet

Guess depending on the circumstance, it's simpler and cheaper for them to take balance payments from those allocated than to resell

I lived extremely dangerously this year.  I was on holiday and only got home at 5 on Tuesday, 2nd.  Balance paid by 8.

I have checked my coach ticket.  Why the f**k did I book my return from Glastonbury to Bristol and then Bristol to Birmingham?  What was I thinking?  Ah well, I'll survive I guess.

Edit - the direct is half an hour later and £20 more.  Hmm, shall I change it if I can, I think I might.

One year, I was very smug about the fact that I'd managed to find a cheap train ticket from Bristol, and that combined with the shuttle bus to Temple Meads saved about £30 versus getting the direct coach home.

Monday morning, I was desperately wishing I'd booked the direct option. Definitely worth the extra if you can.
