Soundwave 2 for a tenner in Morrison's? On it right now. A very nice drop and nice art on can 🙂

In Asda it's 2 packs of 4 for £10...I know it's not the best deal but when a good beer at Glastonbury is probably gonna be £7 then it makes sense 🤣

Just finished checking over all the relevant camping stuff, replenishing consumables etc. Didn't encounter any of the mould or decay I was expecting.

I reckon I'm about half an hours worth of packing away from being "ready to go".

Popped my 3 man fresh & black pop up tent in the garden today to check it was all good and to see if me and MrPipine and all our stuff will fit in it as we haven’t done a camping trip or Glastonbury together in it yet.  Seemed like it would work, I might regret not having a bigger tent if it’s a wet year.. it does have a porch at least.

As promised, I bought a waterproof this weekend in tribute to the weather gods. A nice second hand Columbia. Won't get to wear it of course - disappointing.

I've also been hard at work with my ice strategy, bought some rum, and ordered some paper wristbands for our queer tiki bar, as you do.

Really? I've always rated their footwear. To be fair, that might be because I have odd shaped feet. Everything else gives me some right jib.

Karrimoor were a cracking brand untill they got brought out by sports direct … that meant that many of their products lost quality … I’ve got some walking shoes a few years old that are ok brought under the Mike Ashley ownership …. But a karrimoor backpack  that’s 15 years old and going strong still

Spent the weekend testing the in-laws tent, re-waterproofing ours and theirs, doing a bit of seam sealing. Bought some new camping gear, cleaned existing stuff. Gonna grab a few pairs of shorts and t-shirts today and then that's me ready to go. Just need the lineup now FFS.

Completed my Oxfam training yesterday and picked up a bottle of vanilla Absolut whilst it was on offer in Sainsburys! Think I’m more or less done other than put the ‘pile’ into bags and get the tent out for a once over

bunged the tent up yesterday in the communal gardens round the back of my block of flats - this is always an interesting experience, as i have lots of nosey, posh, slightly entitled neighbours who love 'keeping an eye on things'- it got the curtains twitching, and i did field a couple of questions to ensure i wasnt an undesirable trying to live in the garden 😄 one fella was particularly excited by me confirming i'm going to glastonbury, and promises to look out for me on the tv coverage.

Tent fully dried and cleaned after a muddy Bearded Theory, all folded up beautifully and popped back into the bag. It does fit back in, i promise!

Put the tent up and checked it over. All good there!

Beer bought, spirits decanted and all equipment needed in a pile in the garage.

I'm determined to travel lighter this year as I've always over packed so I've been more ruthless with what I'm taking.

Lenor bottle emptied and cleaned (if you know you know)

Away with work all this week then I'm off to Vietnam Saturday, back the Monday before the gates open so needed to be ready to go.

Another one who cleaned the tent from Bearded Theory mud!  And generally sorted out the stuff I took there, put away the things I won't need for Glasto and left the things I do on the bed in the spare room.

Bought some Sketchers and a hoodie off Vinted.  Mates swear by Sketchers to look after your feet at G.  Strangely my 15 year old dependable festy hoodie seems to have disappeared. It was getting abit ratty, but I haven't chucked it.  Suspect Mrs 4AM having a clearout may be at play.

Booze run this weekend.  Then I think we just have to pack nearer the time!

Beds in the spare room working overtime in the Glastonbury community, carrying much heavier loads than they are used to  😄 I did a bit of a sort through my stuff at the weekend and there's currently a lot of stuff on the bed in the spare room.

i put my regular tent up in the sun yesterday and it was hotter than hell after a minute.
