Done simillar but gone with Gypsy Hill, Crate, and Fourpure (I used to live in Peckham so I still think if them as my local breweries 😂)

I've ordered my new tent and will pop into Decathlon later to collect.  Wonder what else I will end up from there as well?

At this rate you’ll need an extra sleeping bag if it stays this cold!

Realised why the Crocs I ordered were so cheap.   What I took to be a twirly blue pattern is in fact a Spiderman design!  🤣  I don't care, they are just to wear around the tent (and garden in real life).

Ordered a rain poncho to appease the rain gods.

My friend confirmed he had bought my beer order.  Paid him.

Bought a teeny weeny stove:

Just seen that stove on the millets site, got to be honest I'm tempted to grab one myself.  It's a sad thing to admit, but I probably spend more on coffee at glastonbury than I do on booze.

I don't usually bother taking a stove as I travel by coach but think I'll manage to squeeze this, a kettle and a cup in.  Really pleased to find a collapsible kettle too!

Friday night wee small hours I was visiting someone in A&E. Used any waiting time to create a packing last, which tbh is always a copy of last years tweaked.

Today washed sleeping bag and half size pillow - it fits in one of those camping pillow cases.

Tested out the new walking boots yesterday, had a day meandering around a farm.

Feet are still in one piece, so it’s a win (although I’m only going to need trainers at Glasto).

My fantastic prep was rolling my ankle. It seemed to be healing pretty quickly but it’s a week in now and a load more bruising appeared two days ago. Praying it is just a sprain. Will have it looked at later. Ten days is loads of time to recover, right?

I’ve also bought a new rain coat and ear plugs.

Remembered to look for my hydration tablets, couldn't find them so have added some to my Amazon basket.

Started a little pile of stuff to take in the spare room.

My rain poncho arrived.

Got my toiletries together - not much so that didn't take long.

Rucksack & sleeping bag out of the loft and for some reason that I can't recall I have 3 self inflating mats. So I will be testing them over the next week to see which one I take, unless I take all 3 and pile them on top of each other, like the princess and the pea.

Had the tough job of testing the cider bus cider to make sure it was still palatable

It was delicious!

Highly recommend a walk to Burrow Hill (Somerset Cider Brandy on Maps) on a Saturday afternoon, they have music and food every week (Maybe closed for the next few weeks though as they all obviously head to the festival!)

tested how i am these days at going without sleep by watching about 21hours of the 24 Hours of Le Mans (my favourite weekend of the year after Glastonbury).

result - i am too old, and too physically f**ked to cope these days without sleep - and that was from sitting on the sofa... oh dear...
