Sziget was purchased by Superstruct Entertainment Limited (UK-based). Only recently has the American private equity fund KKR bought Superstruct Entertainment Limited. Business-wise, it made very much sense for them to promote Sziget in the UK.
i need to try these at gigs. normally at glasto im very close to the front where people are there for the music. but at some gigs its awful. went to see tourist at new century in manchester before glasto, holy sh*t ive never heard so many people talking at a gig.
actually i lie, all points east is f**king bad. very bad.
But at the moment the stage doesn’t play anything so you would just be introducing a lot of noise in an area where there is currently none plus I can’t imagine that people watching films in Pilton Palais would be impressed.
I agree that a silent disco returning would be great but just not that location. I think there are a few tents in the circus fields that might work much better.
Lovely review @bennyhana22
Now have a tear in my eye reminiscing that wonderful HAAI / Ki/Ki set.
Might be my favourite ever dance music hour at Glastonbury.
