The only time we ventured into the Woodsies crew bar, it wasn’t open! Anybody been there and recommend it? Easy to get in with an Oxfam band?

It’s easy enough to get in. Just go up the track between Woodsies and hospitality towards gate A and there’s a gate on your right. As you say it’s usually late opening.

There were 3,100 applications for the 725 places WaterAid have this year, so obviously a lot of people were disappointed. Anyone who wasn't selected will have been left on the list unless they asked to be taken off but replacements will be selected on the basis of their application. So the more you have been involved in the past or have done other volunteer work for WaterAid the better your chances. But no chance if you didn't initially apply in Jan/Feb.

Yeah got ours the other week - our team lead picked them up at the GFEL meeting on Saturday 1st.

Been on a conference in lovely Liverpool over the past few days.

 

Had my ticket into the arena checked by a scouser every day. Glastonbury Oxfam role-reversal!

Depends on what you look for in a bar. 
Chilled, lively, type of music, dance floor, good food, choice of drinks, cost. There’s probably a crew bar to suit everyone, but you might have to be good at blagging your way into some of them

Anyone that uses Distill for Oxfam seen any change since yesterday evening?

 

My laptop appears to have had a little meltdown overnight and and I’ve not been getting any pings today. Turns out my page checker hasn’t been on!

Random question (which I should know the answer to but don't) - if I was to arrive on the Monday, is there a curfew for getting through the gates? (Not for collecting my ticket, for actually getting through the gates).

It's a good bar - pretty relaxed. Never went as Oxfam - the organisers used to let me in cos I knew them (friends of my manager at work).

I don't use it but there has been changes as I've been checking constantly. Leeds when on, off then on again. 

 

I need to try Distill I think! I couldn't get any other app to get past the recaptcha part

As in to enter gate B once you’re accredited? No, no curfew.

Loads of pings today, nothing on Glastonbury. Leeds, Reading and Womad flipping between sold out and available.

Can anybody explain how they are getting Web page monitors like distill to work? It's really sticky for me and won't even log in. I tried another one and it records me logging in and selecting to watch the drop down menu but the check itself never actually works due to the Recaptcha I am not a robot part...it gets booted off at that stage. What's the workaround?

I 've tried various page monitors on the Oxfam site without success , however I'm not very techie. My fear is there are no more places due to them being over subscribed due to the Shin-Dig priority offer.

I know it feels like hope is fading but don’t give up. 2019 I got my place the equivalent of this coming Monday. And my nephew got his on the Friday.

 

Past years are not a predictor for 2024. But keep trying and it might happen. If it doesn’t, you’ll know you gave it your best shot.
