Talking of parking, has anyone with Avalon who is driving there had any instructions yet?

 

Thinking about it I don't think I've heard anything since I took the online test thingy. Pretty sure I passed.

Don’t think so, someone said you should get an email around 4-6 days beforehand from Hannah

Been absolutely beautiful on site today! Sunny warm and dry 😎☀️There was some mud around the busy traffic areas but it’s dried up today. Think we’re through the worst of the weather last week 🥳

I'd mentioned in a different thread about some problems I've been having. One of those problems was medical and that has now made it impossible for me to attend. 

Actually, that's not 100% true, I could attend but it could only make the situation worse and isn't worth the risk.

This has, for a variety of reasons, been a properly sh*t year and this is just the cherry on the f**king top.

Like I said. f**king devastated.

Ah sorry to hear this Philip.  I know what the place means to you.

Glastonburys come and go so you are making the right choice. You have to look after you and come back stronger. Be all the sweeter on your return.

 

On a side note I am at my least fit ever, probably unhealthist as well. I have made a deal that when I come back that all changes. I have followed your story and it is going to help me on my next quest to get me back . So thanks

I remember reading somewhere that there are cheap cold cans in the Avalon campsite? Can anyone confirm or deny this as I'm trying to guage how much alcohol to bring in with me cheers!

Think they were £1.50ea last year. So not cheaper than you bring from a supermarket but cheaper than pints in the festival.

There was the publicised post-Resale release (gone in 6 seconds !) at the beginning of May, and no (corroborated) evidence of anything at all since...

 

Whatever this years Oxfam strategy is, they're sticking to it so I guess it must be working !
