Tramlines 2024

Any shouts of Busted? They're active over the summer, and haven't played in Sheffield on their many reunion tours. I thought McFly was good fun last year so I'd take them. Would love one of Girls Aloud, Keane or Busted for the Sunday. Would be nice to see that slot dedicated to some 00s nostalgia this year rather than a usual 80s/90s acts that never get much interest.

From Instagram... Keane might be a possibility?

Keane would give me a chuckle for this; only because someone put them on their wish list on Twitter a few years ago and the social media guy on Twitter said something to the effect of "Keane?! You must be joking?!"

Of course, probably ran by a different team now and it's a different landscape. Keeping an eye on this, Truck, YNot and Kendal because one will end up being my UK fest next year most likely.

Not Tramlines, but this is a steal at just over £40, and nice way to kick off the festival season - tickets from Friday

I mean my music taste is pretty mass market so I get I'm maybe not the target audicene, but for £40 this seems....not great.

Don't know if I'm reading too much into things here, but Tramlines just posted an Instagram story with Murder on the Dancefloor as the music - it has been a few years since Sophie Ellis-Bextor was last there so perhaps she's in lineup somewhere too?

As per the Truck Festival thread it seems these are all appearing so expect some crossover.

Jamie T, Wet Leg, The Streets, Sea Girls, The Kooks, Idles, Declan McKenna, Holly Humberstone, Soft Play, Black Honey, Peace, The Magic Gang, Katy B, Yard Act, The Snuts

Last year the two shared DMA's, The Mary Wallopers, Red Rum Club, Circa Waves, Pale Waves, Kate Nash, The Beths, Rachel Chinouriri, Courting, High School, Wunderhorse, Prima Queen, Deadletter, Dead Pony plus prob a few more.  No Headliners were shared though.

I want idles so bad but I know that’ll probably be the only one we don’t get 😅

Been listening to a bit of Suede this afternoon, they'd be a good addition to the line-up IMO.

Saw them last year headlining Kite festival. Phenomenal performance. Brett Anderson is unstoppable!

If they are not on the bill for Tramlines or Y Not, I'm going to get a ticket for Leeds Millennium Square.
