Anyone else got anymore hopes or predictions? I'm genuinely clueless to the other headliners but my theory currently is:

Obelisk

Friday

Hozier

Wet Leg

Saturday

Liam Gallagher

Blossoms

Sunday

Duran Duran

Nile Rodgers and Chic

BBC Sounds

Friday

Johnny Marr

Saturday

PJ Harvey

Sunday

Idles

Also appearing I could see Arlo Parks, Ash, BC Camplight, CMAT, Declan Mckenna, Echo and the Bunnymen, Gabrielle, Jessie Ware, Jungle, Keane, The Last Dinner Party, The Lathums, Raye, Sigrid, Simple Minds, Softplay, Status Quo, Suede, Texas, Tom Grennan and Tom Odell

I obviously don't expect them all to be there but they seem the right sort of acts who could appear on the lineup

That bbc sounds line up is 👌👌 I’d like to see Sofia Kourtesis on the line up somewhere . I’d take bonobo or bicep but both unlikely.

I think Bombay bc will headline the Friday night. Saturday is anyone’s guess shame Damian has just said blur are now not touring 🥲😂.  I actual think they had Florence booked but have had to change it as she’s been ill . Maybe that explains the late survey 🤷‍♀️

It’s not going to be hosier thank god as he is in the us on tour .

Hadn't seen this! I don't particularly rate him but thought he seemed the sort of headliner theyd go for - I still think they need a female headliner though  so not sure who yet

Gorillaz could be a shout though? I'm stunned they've never played

I think Florence has finished her tour now and is focusing her work on a new Great Gatsby musical so I'm not convinced she'd be there either

Damon has said that he is doing a musical in Paris and then working on a new the Gorillaz album and so I think he will be too busy this year.  Agree on Florence as well seems like she has wound up the the tour now.

Some good work there and I agree there will be acts here that will turn up.

I thought I had a plot for who could headline the main stage but I'm not sure any more...

potentially one of the following....The National, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Tame Impala, PJ Harvey.  It might be a bit of wish fulfilment though as they are all acts I want to see there next year.

Whether an act that you've put could step up/fill a headliner slot like Wet Leg, Jungle, Blossoms or whether Keane are actually headliner size (feel they must be similar in size to Sterophonics/Snow Patrol/BBC/Bastille).

Very exciting!

Whats everyone's last thoughts/predictions before the announcement?

I'm thinking some very likely acts (not necessarilly headlining) are Nick Mulvey, The Vaccines, Nation Of Language, Everything Everything, Baby Queen, Jockstrap, Big Moon and potentially Django Django. Of course, a dream list, but with touring next year, it'd make sense.

Dream acts would be Bombay Bicycle Club, Aurora, MGMT, King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard, Sigur Ros, Years & Years, The Jesus And Mary Chain, Oliver Sim (I've wanted to see him live for ages), Romy and Jamie xx.

I’m not holding out much hope for headliners now as they are doing the first wave of the lineup on virgin radio. Take me to when they had it announced on 6 music 🤣.  I’ll expect stereophonics, keane etc etc hopefully I’m wrong 😑

Good grief! That does not bode well! I'm with you,  I'm now expecting Keane and hoping I'm wrong.

Wondering how many names we'll get this time, we'll obviously get the headliners but I reckon 20ish acts in there

I'd also seen they're releasing day tickets in the new year so we might not get day splits annoyingly

I'd imagine we might get a few leaks or hints before tomorrow but overall I'm excited to see who's there

Yeah can't remember when the day splits are but usually much later.

I’m hoping for Idles, who are touring next summer and have a break around the time of Latitude. Though Latitude is getting a bit tame so I expect disappointment.

You sort of think they are absolutely the band who should headline the BBC sounds stage but whether they do or not we shall see. I hope so.

I wouldn't be surprised if they rock up, they've had Fontaines DC and Siouxie recently so would fit the punk headliner - I'd noticed they have a gap then too and are definitely playing festivals so I'd love them to be there

Looked back and they announced the initial day splits this time last year and then had a bigger announcement February time so I could see this happening again

Anyone have any other last minute guesses? I'm really perplexed this year as I usually have someone nailed on but this year I've got nothing

It's a stretch obviously but I've just been narrowing down searches to find out acts on the schedule and one name that keeps popping up in the Google most recent results filter without any reference to APE is LCD Soundsystem... I really am grasping for straws but I just have that hope in me 🥰🤞

Haven’t seen any leaks as yet …I’ve heard a fair few people mention haim 🤷‍♀️ guess we will fine out in a little over 2 hours

I have too but they're not active anywhere from what I've seen, I'd love them to be there though

We all know there'll be something in there we never expect so im excited to see what's in store

Would love it to be PJ Harvey, The Black Pumas, Aurora, Weyes Blood and BC Camplight but the way things seem to heading it’s more likely to be Travis (who are out and about again) and wouldn’t be surprised to see Noel over Liam. Maybe Haim and Last Dinner Party.
