LMFAO are on a hiatus. I wouldn't be surprised if they are the main reason of the postponement. Sziget might have to wait for them to announce their reunion.

Btw, they're still very popular in the area, there are lots of parties that still play their hit songs, so I guess they would sell well if it's them.

they all look similar but none of them is the exact L we’re looking for

I guess you're right but I suppose the name of the act is composed of 6-7 letters at most (as many as they can fill the clue that was posted). There are not that many popular artists that have a short name and start with an 'L': Lorde (unlikely, as she was at Sziget last year), Lizzo (we already know it's not her), La Roux (maybe?), L7, Lit, Lordi (about these 3 I don't think they're subject of interest for the festival), Ludacris, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, London Grammar, LCD Soundsystem, Lana Del Rey, Liam Gallagher etc. (these are too long, I guess).

Aaaaand... that's how I got to LMFAO.

Of course, the clue might be a hint only for the first name or last name of artist. Or maybe of a song. In these cases it can get difficult to guess. But if it's a full name of an act, there are not that many possibilities.

I think as mentioned, august festivals dont have a lot of choices and Lana will sell lot of daily tickets, although her live performances are not so good. Lets pray for someone else in the meantime 🙂

The fact she's playing Reading and Leeds in 2024 (starts 23 August) must mean she's likely. Unfortunately.

Rock en Seine is similar dates and announcing in a couple of hours so that might give more of a clue to the pool Sziget is fishing in.

Balaton dropping lineup 5 dec so that will be interesting
