If you look at the last 3 years and convert it to 7 days (x 1.16) then it would be:

452 000 » 524 000

420 000 » 487 000

400 000 » 464 000

And this would mean that - if the data is correct - 2017 was worse than this year.

I think this edition  was quite okay, revolute stage was more than good, some of the main headliners were surprisingly  great

Sziget organizers already dropped two other hungarian mediumsize festivals, VOLT (max 140000 attendants) in 2022, and Balatonsound (170000 max) this year due to non-profitability, and they are only focusing to sziget next year

absolutely. i feel bad, i'm never a part of the let's-slag-off-the-lineup gang but this year i was pretty annoyed and complained a lot. but during the festival i felt more than busy with all these gigs. seeing like 3 artists is plenty for a day.
