Probably more chance of them being there than not. Although I thought that about lots of acts prior to the first announcement 🤣

Seems almost inevitable that it'll be 12 March. I really hope it's no later. Very difficult to sell tickets to an festivam with only 30 plus acts announced over six days.

These are only a few examples of rock bands touring in Europe in August. So Sziget can't say afterwards " rock acts were missing in August".. clearly not.

So I'm veeery curious about the second line up announcement. there is hope. But also fear lol...

Yeah but probably half of them is already unavailable because of their busy schedules...

Not many of those are headline size. I'd happily take a good half of them on the undercard though.

Agreed. Plus, the rogue email that was shared on here about her appearing, had her down as playing 12 August, implying she'll likely sub Fred on the final day.

I guess we will know in the next 48 whether or not Tuesday announcement will happen. Can't believe they'll leave it beyond that date, but stranger things have happened.

Viagra Boys played last year, Inhaler two years ago. They don't usually repeat bands in 2-4 years. 

Scorpions, Korn, Rise Against or Placebo aren't targets for current Sziget.

Comment from the festival on Instagram when someone asked for line-up announcement today:

"We know you're eager to know and we're eager to tell you! We'll share the news as soon as we can. Your patience means a lot to us."

That, I'm afraid, does not sound like an announcement is coming in a few days' time.....

i hope a huge name havent annouced tour yet is the rwason for the delay.

we know Shakira, Drake, Rihanna should tour this year.

Gaga, Ariana, Sia relaese new albums, so maybe tour too?

 

i guess non of them will be in sziget, but i hope we got a surprise..

+ we know there was no Sziget in 2020, 2021 and when I came back to the festival it felt like I saw some of those bands already the previous year (jungle in 2019 and 2022) 🙃
