Food Stalls

Likely not the festivals fault but there were several food stalls there that were also at 2000 Trees in mid July.

Since 2000Trees prices have gone up and portions have reduced - was this just for BD? I wonder that as at festivals I have never seen quite so many cleanly wiped off price boards with new writing on or, like the toastie stall, stickers put over the other prices.

I know everything out there is costing more but in 5 weeks 20% price rises for less food seemed a little excessive to us.

Thought the food was pricy but overall the quality was really good. The pasta place by the Big Top was lovely (although £12 for a little tub of pasta I'd hope it would be). The yorkshire pudding wrap was incredible...havent seen that for ages.

Wish Cheesy Vinyl would come back though!

£12 appeared to be the standard price for a meal throughout the festival, but everything I tried was enjoyable. My top pick was the whitebait from Thyme and Tide.

That's my favourite as well, but what normally happens is I should have got food 5 pints ago and end up at roaming rotisserie

possibly because of different overheads for the different festivals.

Curry Shed was fantastic.  Had the 3 curry & chapati on Friday (the Keralan cabbage was incredible), a portion of the bhaji/pakora on Sat and then a bowl of the dhal with chapati for breakfast on Sunday with a chai. Properly good.
