bigsliceoflemon
Couldn't find this in search, so thought I'd ask... I have been pretty chill about planning how to get there, because I read on there that there's shuttle buses from Salisbury station. However, I just looked again and it says to check timetables & buy tickets for the shuttle on the national express site 🤔 https://endoftheroadfestival.com/information/travel Which doesn't sound very shuttle-y. Does anyone have any experience of this? Can you just turn up at Salisbury and take a bus to the site? Trying to book it on the website isn't giving much joy... Thanks! zahidf
in theory you can but it would be better if you pre-bought for busy periods, as those with tickets already get priority

Yes you can pay on the day, but you may have to wait if the buses are full of pre-paid people. Also IIRC they are more expensive on the day, so it's better to pre-book it if you can. robith
if you need actual flexibility, is worth trying to cobble together 4 people at the train station and getting a cab. But yeah, way back, pre book
airwaves
"How do the shuttle buses work?" I think they have an engine in the front, probably powered by diesal. That engine drives a drive shaft that turns the wheels I think that's it Edited August 29, 2023 by airwaves Correction
shuttlebusq
I have a ticket for a shuttle on Thursday but would like to get the one an hour after I've booked.. but it's the last one so wonder if I might end up stranded as it says 'sold out' on the national express website, any one have any luck with this in the past? Thanks everyone for the replies and helping us understand! Appreciate it.
