Getting there from salisbury train station!

Same situation here, and now considering driving instead, as looks like all pre booked tomorrow. I suspect petrol from Brighton will be less than a taxi...

Presumably everyone coming by train will be arriving tomorrow due to strikes on Friday (plenty of shuttle bus availability then!)

If we end up driving, might try and go via Salisbury station if we have time, in case we can help out a couple of stranded souls!

"Shuttle bus" to me implied just turn up!

maybe check if there are any shuttle services running from nearby towns, or look on social media festival groups to see if anyone is doing a shuttle/carpool you could join last minute. As a backup, see if there's a bus route that could get you close, even if it means a bit of a walk from the drop off point. Hope you're able to sort something out - have fun at the festival!

Good to know.

Totally forgot to buy a shuttle bus ticket from Salisbury train station and now freaking out. Seems really expensive to get a taxi, wondering if i can still get shuttle bus or are there other travel options!! Any responses would be helpful 🙂

What did you end up doing? And you @Drutt? Did you find out anymore about how the buses work? Thinking about the train but this weird 'shuttle' bus setup is really putting me off.

I use the shuttle buses every year from Salisbury station: it's pretty straightforward, as long as you prebook. I've generally managed to get the tickets the day before, and if you miss your slot, buses are every 30 mins and they'll squeeze you on the next time

Thanks. To be clear, you're saying you've booked the shuttle bus the day before, and you've got the slot you wanted? That would make life easier. I assumed they'd sell out.

Yeah, its pretty easy to get the slot you want. I normally book it more than the day before, same time as the train ticket tbh

Ah, yeah, that's what I expected - I was confused by you saying "I've generally managed to get the tickets the day before".

Just looked via the link from EOTR site and it's not showing any options that aren't sold out for Salisbury to EOTR shuttles...
