I agree that it's not what you'd traditionally expect from Reading in this day and age, have things changed though? Its not all that different from this year really though with Blink and Liam Gallagher... If their strategy is now appease the kids who are coming whatever with a loaded dance/ rap/ popular program on the Chevron/ lower MS bill, while getting bar spending older types in on day tickets to see headliners, it would tick the boxes. Guess we'll see what what route they're looking to go down when all is revealed

Pulp have to do glasto one last time. It is destiny (and Jarvis is always there). sub below a strong newcomer (such as O Rod) would be an ideal way to go out (or headline other).

Recon Madonna is behind Lana Del Ray for headliners now. The Eavis hold a grudge If you have heard the way he spoke about Chilli Peppers and Fleetwood Mac at one of the talks he did. If you f*ck over the festival then your out it seems for the most part. Unless you crawl back to them..... I doubt Madonnas ego could take that.

I think most went yesterday in the presale as I saw Ticketmaster say today's sale was 'extremely limited'. It was a right c*ck up as usual from TM yesterday, 45 mins into the sale and the ticket map was flashing all over the show with seats becoming available and then immediately disappearing like they were being released in batches. Then an AXS link suddenly went live on the Linkin Park site at 12.45 with thousands available all over the arena. For once, paying for the early access paid off.
