His solo stuff is excellent. He only had one album out when he played there in 2014 so he would fall back on a Supergrass song or two. He's now got 4 solo albums so there is no need imo.

do we ever get those novelty type acts moving from Avalon to bigger stages ?

Don't think they were at all likely anyway tbh - their set this year was a concession of them not headlining again any time soon rather than a preview of things to come imo.

Would happily see some of them step up to bigger stages, Sugababes on The Pyramid would be a home run of a booking.
