Parkway Drive and Avril Lavigne are surely bigger. Avril Lavigne recently played a small arena here in Prague, I don't think Yungblud can do it.

Size of acts is quite subjective. If you use ticket sales, PWD are the smallest as they played 4k cap. Yungblud sold 2x 3cap shows in the row, Avril sold out ±8k in Prague (although it was a covid show postponed for 2 yrs, so hard to measure). Based on tix sales only, Yungblud is capable of headlining.

It just puzzles me that people are complaining regarding headliner slot instead of enjoying the fact they have much more headline sized bands. Nevermind 😉

Unfortunately, what looks possible on a paper doesn't work in reality. E.g. getting from the UK or Scandinavia to central Europe (RfP/NR) requires flying, so you need 1 day gap in the tour schedule if the band travels in tour bus, which is basically everyone except huge headliners who will fly in, but that requires at least double production setup (one is being built while the other one travels).

Babymetal have Greenfield - Download - Nova, so they are out based on logistics.
Turnstile are in Sweden on Fri, so technically possible on Wed, but I doubt it. I expect them to book more gigs in Scandinavia instead.
Polyphia - they have DL only, so technically a possibility if they are open to travel to mainland Europe.
Mudvayne - they play RaR/RiP/NR, so it's a posibility.
The Used - they have Download only so far, no indication of them coming over to mainland Europe. If they start their tour at DL, I would say there's a slim chance they will appear here because of logistics.
Deftones - I believe they are exclusive to Primavera
the bloody Avenged Sevenfold - they can make it logistically, though I am not convinced they make sense for RfP. Let's face it, they are a niche act in Czechia and the last album didn't help a bit. I like them but I would be hugely surprised if they are our missing head.

So, from your list, only Polyphia and Mudvayne are possibility imho. They still might appear in the next announcement, let's see

I honestly don't know what's the point of this when almost half of the lineup is also announced for Download so the travel is not the problem. Some of them even do it without 1 day gap (Sum 41 for example).

If they can get Hoobastank who only have Download and RfP as their announced EU shows, then why not them? But I guess this is based on popularity. Everyone know The Reason from the radio, The Used never had such a hit.

Don't get me wrong, the names you listed would be fantastic for me personally (well, except Babymetal but that's another story :-), I am just managing expectations as many people have huge ones towards RfP. They managed to overdeliver 22 & 23, let's see how the next year will turn out fro them. I am honestly not that sceptical as subs are great for me and many of smaller ones are amazing. I believe they will bring a few more exciting names in the future.

..and it seems that last hint is for Prodigy (or Arcade Fire hopefully!), it would be incredibly lazy booking and it would seem that the extend of the festival was made just because they simply dont have strong lineup, Arcade Fire would be total surprise, but I dont think that is happening.

Little side point: the clue says 4th headliner not final, and there’s one more day of advent calendar. Could there be 5 headliners across 4 days?

I don't expect any further names to be announced as headliners based on the wording. Having said that, I guess it will be interesting to see the day split as some days may be quite stacked. It usually comes on last day of calendar so we'll see soon

Hi everyone, first time attender here. Me and a friend are really keen to go, i've seen online they're down to their final release on tickets. I obviously won't hold anyone to this but do we reckon there will still be some left on Thursday or should I purchase before Christmas?

if I may recommend, there will be plenty of people selling the tickets for cheaper price over Ticketswap which is official partner so you cannot be scammed.

The festival overall is great, its just bad luck next year, I will be definitely going as I still think its the best multigenre festival in our country.

Thanks guys! Will defo hold fire until Thursday when I'm paid. personally for me the line-up is decent, a fair few on the undercard i want to see and seems reasonably priced (compared to festivals in the UK)

First timer going! Booked the RfP tent hotel as coming from abroad with a mate and didn't want to lug a tent over from England. Anyone stayed in one before and if so how big is it?
