What Sort of Vehicles Can Get Into The Campervan Field.

Ignore the warning on campervan field tickets about the vehicle having to be a "live-in vehicle with kitchen etc".  We had large groups of cars throughout our field with nothing but tents an gazeebos. Asked a few if they had had issues getting through security, all said no.

we went last time in a clearly hired van with livery on the side, with a fitted bed and a sink so it met the criteria.

Didn't even get checked by security. 

VW campers don't have fitted sinks but still get let in (you have to have a fitted bed and either sink or toilet for it to qualify I think). I've seen people with 'worse' vans than us get through to the CV field, but equally I've heard from others about having issues.

I guess it's down to luck of the draw?

Maybe, but I've known several people access the CV field with a car, no problem at all.

I saw a few cars this year but with trailers.

Pretty well anything from what I've seen. 

Plenty of cars with tents in the campervan fields up to big ex army Bedford trucks.

Vehicles ranging from cars with tents to ex-army Bedford trucks seem to find their way into the campervan field with ease.
