According to my social media memories we had the majority of the 2016 and 2017 line-ups announced today.

I Imagine it will be 12-15 names again.

My guesses

Rock - Flogging Molly, Heavenward, Red Flag

Pop - Aurora, Pommelien Thijs

Electronic - Dom Dolla, Richie Hawtin, Andy C, Barry Can't swim

Indie - Viagra Boys, Protomartyr, Inhaler

Urban - dv4d

Summer Sonic in Japan are announcing their first names tomorrow which will rule a few acts out. Wouldn't be surprised to see Pulp or LCD there.

A nice lot. This might again tempt me for a little day trip in Hasselt...

Very happy with Fontaines, Crystal Fighters and especially Sugababes.

Already a better line up than 2022 and 2023 for me. If they get the Club and Lift names right then this will be back to a proper Pukkelpop line up.

Couple of metal acts are rumoured for PKP (Motionless in White, Amity Affliction), I think (or hope) the Backyard will stay.

@johnybegood With the announcement of Enter Shikari, it is confirmed The Backyard will stay around for another year.

It'll be retro fun. Same as Craig David a few years ago, late afternoon, early evening. Perfect booking.

or Kelis in 2019: I spended half an hour there and I realized I knew almost every song she played 😄

At this point I think they'll reveal another batch of names next Wednesday, first poster and ticket price soon after and ticket sales will start next Friday (March 1st).

It's clear now they choose not to bet on a Billie-sized ticket seller but on a lot of different medium-big names for different tastes, which I prefer.

Richard Ashcroft and Richard Hawley playing Beautiful Days festival 16-18 august in UK. Wouldn't mind having them both. Ashcroft at Rock Werchter 2019 was, for me, (one of) the best perfomance(s) that year!

Ashcroft is also playing Hardwick Live so unlikely. I'd have bet on Becky Hill being at Pukkelpop but she's in the UK all weekend as well

Nice undercard announcement. Happy for Bad Nerves, Fat Dog, Nation Of Language, Yin Yin and Yussef Dayes but I was expecting a couple of bigger acts.

Main - Fri 4, Sat 5, Sunday 3 = 12

Marquee - 4, 3, 3 = 10

Dance Hall - 2, 2, 2 = 6

Boiler - 2, 1, 1 = 4

Club 1, 0, 2 = 3

Backyard = 1, 1, 1 = 3

Elevator = 1, 2, 1 = 4

Booth = 0, 1, 0

Total = 43 Names

Bearing in mind there's nearly a full line up for the Club stage to be announced over the 3 days I'm very happy with what we've got so far. If they nail the Club stage it'll be a great edition. Very happy with Barry Can't swim.

Edit: didn't know Blondshell and Sylvie Kreusch, listening them right now and I like both too. Really cool announcement imho.

A bit underwhelming so far for my tastes. There are a few good names in there, but apart from The Smile, no one I'm interested in that I haven't already seen several times (or more) before.

Hopefully the filling out of the Club and Lift bills in the coming weeks will add some exciting new names I haven't heard of before, which is what usually makes PKP worthwhile for me.

As it is, for the first time in 15 years I won't be buying our tickets on the day they go on sale. I need to be more impressed to justify forking out €279 a pop.

Hopefully they'll come through with the required names. Green Man are announcing on Friday so we'll have a better idea who's about for those stages.

Will be buying our tickets on Saturday. Difference is I'll be bringing my nearly 17 year old son along this time. Never thought this would happen but I'd rather him go to Pukkelpop than some shite UK festival with loads of idiots and aggro. Line up suits us both thankfully.

Anyone else think it seems a bit more of a grown up line up than last year? Wonder if booking the likes of Billie and Anne-Marie had an adverse affect on the beer sales despite selling out 😀
