Now this, is complete and utter insanity!

Note how many 'rooms' are sold out - they only launched on Sunday!

Those prices are off the scale. And to think that two of the options are sold out. Mind you. there are people with silly money out there.

My wife and I will arrive on Thursday ( we departure from London in the 9am coach). I’m thinking to book Tangerine Fields, but I have no idea how convenient it is in terms of distance and location. Any feedback about it? We are worried we won’t get a decent spot to put our tent.
Thanks everyone!

Love the idea of the airstream caravan. Well worth it if you could tow it away with you after the festival. They might not notice in all the confusion of Monday morning😊😉

A friend of mine once turned up at the festival in an airstream camper van (not very common) without a ticket or any sort of pass.

He was spotted by the Shangri-La site manager, who said "we have to get this on site". Passes and wristbands were sorted.

My friend then became bar manager for Guerilla Bar and remains so.

The same.

We asked someone in T@C backstage to have a look around theres. Very nice.

Not sure they were happy when I turned round and shouted what are you doing in my accommodation and I called security 😉

More common than you think , I saw a shed load heading that way when going down with @Sawdusty surfer last time ..

What a fabulous story.

I can't think that I have ever seen an Airstream camper. Must look that up. Plenty enough caravans. In fact, they are like vermin. Do you know, on average, your never more than 6 foot away from a live Airstream campervan? You didn't? Well, there's a reason for that!

The Shangri-La team certainly have 'the eye', as per their insistence that the camper and its human inhabitants get into the festival. Nice blag all around.

And then for your mate to get a job at a bar (that I never have heard of before. Last time I went was 2014. Not sure if that makes a difference?), which sounds like one I'd like to frequent.

Now, off to look at some Airstream camper porn.

Not many have heard of it.

Can't remember how long it's been about. It's located just behind The Truth Stage and is fairly exclusive. It's officially a "private members club", invite only. They issue membership cards, which gain you entry.

It varies from a dull drinking hole for old school crew to a wild party venue.

Makes you laugh when there’s a private campsite right next to it where you can park a camper for £180, showers etc. it’s literally a 2 minute further walk and a fraction of the cost.
