Arcade Fire possibly? In Ireland a couple of days later. Announce it late in case there’s any push back. Personally think it would sell.

Tbf they are yet to announce any UK dates. So it can't be ruled out just yet.

I keep seeing people on the Glasto thread claim maybe they're too old to know who certain acts are...

Gonna reverse that for once, I'm too young I'm assuming but who?

Probably less a case of age and more background.

Finsbury Park area has always had a significant Irish population so the venue makes sense in that regard.

Exactly.

The Fleadh ran successfully for many years in the park.

They are an iconic Irish band , rebel songs etc but saying that the generally play smallish venues, so a real odd booking.

Had a resurgence last couple of years and got big with the irish youth. Had a massive slot at electric picnic festival last year.   Did 3 sold out electric ballroom last year hut this is huge for them

Er that poster looks like a tribute act for Club 85

Club 85 is a great venue. Seen Shikari and Jeffrey Lewis there, as well as a mates band. Was weird for Jeffrey Lewis though as everyone was sitting down at tables so I had to awkwardly stand up behind them on my own

3 nights at Electric Ballroom is still less than 5k though. Finsbury is pretty enormous by comparison.
