I was wondering this - it's definitely a significant GSH. Could see her being tempted back given she seems to have really enjoyed both times she's played. But think if she's back this quickly it probably makes it her last Glastonbury for a while to avoid overdoing it.

I wonder if she just fancies coming to the festival, since she's in the UK anyway? I appreciate someone as famous as her that's unlikely, but it obviously made an impression on her based on interviews and her appearance in the BBC docco, and she's clearly on good terms with the organisers.

O-Rod + (insert established act) + Dave with Billy Joel as legend. Mulling over the Saturday established act, but seriously doubt it would be Swift.

O-Rod, Dave and Rihanna would still be my guess. I'm still trying to get a ticket for orod on twickets to save myself from really needing a ticket.

No chance Swift is doing festivals next year i.e. a largely brand new show after touring Eras for two years.

I don't think she'll do it until after the fallow yea

Agreed.. lots going on for celebration. It’s been an epic tour.  She was an hour late again, even with the TV coverage going live and the presenters having to fill the gap with lots of talking to crowd then promo videos, adverts and Madonna videos.   Can’t see that working well with BBc schedules or glasto curfews!

Springsteen just rescheduled his Prague show to June 15th 2025. So he'll be back in Europe next year at around the right time.

Could be something!

30th anniversary of Ghost of Tom Joad. Acoustic headliner.

Is there a link for this / and news in the Milan shows?

Nothing for Marseille or Milan yet.

Was kind of expecting Prague to crop up this year, so confirmation of Europe in 2025 is nice!

Can't find anything on Milan or Marseille yet, but bodes very nicely for Glastonbury (I hope)

Bruce, Olivia, Rihanna, Dave, Fender in the mix. I mean I've only added Bruce to that anyway. For Olivia, it'll be whether in my opinion Reading can offer her enough money not to take Glastonbury but a couple of stadiums shows away from her. I still think Fender and Dave are both setup for it but we haven't any information Dave will actually be back.

Yeah as a victim of the Prague show I wasn't expecting to wait a year but it means I can definitely make it at least. and if things go well see him again at Glastonbury two weeks later.

I'd love an all-female selection of Pyramid headliners next year. I don't personally like all of these suggestions, but I feel they are realistic in terms what the festival is going for: Taylor Swift, Blackpink, Madonna. One that I would personally like to see headline is HAIM. I feel like they're a few hits away from being viable. And that's the world according to me lol

Olivia is a certainty. She's as good as nailed on.

I wouldn't say nailed on, Glastonbury usually tries to go for acts in the first year of their album release so unless she has a random new 2025 album I would say it's 50/50.

In the case though, my prediction would be Olivia, The Boss and Fender. Not an ideal set of headliners for me but I guess they don't book it for me haha.

My assumption is that they did try to book her for this year and she turned it down - but will be back next year with a new show for festivals and will do a run of them like Primavera, BST or Roskilde.

Taylor Swift will almost definitely not be doing a run of festival dates next summer.

I reckon she will eventually, but not yet. 2023/24 has been a sh*t ton of recording and touring commitments, so I can guess 2025 is a year for a break.

... if indeed she wants that ofc. Could easily just extend the Eras tour to any corners of the world that want to see it again.

For established act, if you insert Chaka Khan, then this is golden IMO. Eclectic and balanced in terms of generations, genres, male/female etc. Probably won’t happen, but would be well received I think.
