He wouldnt need to book a tour 3 years in advance, he's clearly up for playing it whenever cause he popped up this year again

Oh right, I thought it was referring to something already being in the pipeline. It's a bit like saying Fatboy Slim or Bean on Toast are doing 2027 or 2025 if a slot is available 😂

Can't see Fred headlining next year unless it's a last minute replacement. Could do Other headliner or Pyramid sub though.

I personally think that's madness. I'd have them in the Sunday tea time slot or just after x

Ha!  Really?!  Why is that?  Just think they'd be better in a night-time slot.. and reckon The Park is the biggest stage they could headline.

People saying 3 monster named acts (specifically american) are probably wide of the mark.

The only way to budget for a Madonna / ACDC / Pink is to also get someone like Fred Again / Dave / Sam Fender who take a discount as it could be looked at as a possible slight bump up & it might be a dream gig.

ACDC dont need the publicity & are not gunna get any bigger. Fred Again headlines Glastonbury & he might be doing football stadiums rather than arena tours.

Got speaking to someone who very very very much is likely to know something over the weekend. Happy to share it.

they are deliberately keeping things quite fluid after the drama of this year where they lost quite a few names in the process.

Fred Again (either 2025 if they have the space, but 2027 if they need to make way for someone else). Apparently this was sealed very recently (perhaps over the weekend).

Stevie Wonder - who they had for a brief moment this year, but his tour (BST and Glasto) didn’t go ahead. Still haven’t locked him down but that is the plan.

Third headliner still in open negotiations. Discussion point is whether this act actually will tour next year. Most likely female if they have two males in the frame.

Let's get the ball rolling with some rumours for 2025, coming from the other place... obviously to be taken with a pinch of salt but not much else to go on.

Matt42 of former efests fame saying Fred Again... to do either 2027 or 2025 if a slot becomes available. And also Stevie Wonder to do 2025 after trying to get him this year. Just throwing it out there...

Sorry just realised someone’s already taken it over here!

Is Matt somehow ITK now? Because when he was on here his predictions changed from week to week and he was so full of sh*t it was hard to keep up....

That's ignoring the fact that the festival sure as hell aren't booking headliners 3 years in advance, nor is an act of Fred Again's stature booking tours that far in advance.

It’s not a booking 3 years in advance situation. It’s a “you’ve got a headline slot whenever you/we make it work”. Essentially an open offer for both sides.

Would be an easy guess however I’m unsure if Olivia would (a) be a tough negotiation or (b) tour next year after touring heavily this year.

My gut feeling (based on nothing but that) is someone like Gaga - who would require a bit of contract wrangling.

Genuine Q, but do you think Glasto can actually pull a lineup like that nowadays? They’d be lucky to get one name that big a year now.

Acts are getting too expensive and too demanding. AC and Taylor touring requirements are beyond what the pyramid can handle.

Fred is the biggest example of the Emperor's new clothes since the record industry crowned Mumford and Gurners. He is absolute bobbins and having seen him play in Oz he'll draw a big crowd that grows rapidly disinterested, because people have been told he's good so much (and we all know why...) their brains have accepted it. Seriously, shite.

Can sadly see it happening.

Funny that because his set at the Other stage in 2023 absolutely went off...
