The Festival acknowledges that booking SZA was viewed as a mistake by many and is keen to learn from the small crowd, Contact has been made with her team post festival and the bookers are actually keen for SZA to return to the farm in the future although no actual plans are put in place at this point, the team don’t want SZA legacy with the festival to be perceived as a negative one. They will follow her career closely and it may be 10 or more years when she returns and as to what slot she occup
We've had the consensus in here that Sheeran's German shows and the rumour of Olivia Rodrigo doing the only night Sheeran was free on Glasto weekend ruled him out, right? Because I stumbled across the Glastonbury Reddit and they've taken the Metro article as conviction he is doing a headline slot on Radio 1's Big Pyramid Takeover.
Timing for the second kid doesn't work.
If, as EE has stated in interviews, they try to pencil acts in 2 years ahead, the timing could fit for the first kid.
So if she'd provisionally agreed in mid / late 2021 for the 2023 festival, it'd be before the pregnancy happened - the kid was born in May 2022 so plenty of time to change her mind about touring either during the pregnancy or after giving birth.
So that'd be "new mum" rather than "pregnant", but it could certainly fit for an intended but cancelled tour that would have included Glastonbury.
There seems to be talk that they turned down Download. I don't know how true that is, just that it's appeared in 2/3 threads on here. Was that the Brixton gig? Was at that with a pal, didn't know them but he had a ticket spare. Decent as I recall.
My Baby are Dutch aren't they? Fantastic live band either way, but don't translate well to record IMO
