The Festival acknowledges that booking SZA was viewed as a mistake by many and is keen to learn from the small crowd, Contact has been made with her team post festival and the bookers are actually keen for SZA to return to the farm in the future although no actual plans are put in place at this point, the team don’t want SZA legacy with the festival to be perceived as a negative one. They will follow her career closely and it may be 10 or more years when she returns and as to what slot she occup
I caught Rhianna at a festival in 2016 headlining - she was 1 hour 30mins late and she also was clearly 'oot her nut'. You could barely hear her first 6/7 songs for booing. Would still go see her again, that back catalogue is too hit packed!
JT and they don’t share headliners. They share a few acts normally so would be more interested once they’re announcing that.
Also, Kylie ruled out this morning
It's taking the name from the 2018 lineup - if you go to the page, and click the "View Past Lineups" button, then you get posters and lists of names from past festivals and that's what it's picking up on here and incorrectly attributing it to 2025.
I think the latter is closer to the truth. And I wouldn't think it's a deliberate insult or anything to generate ill feeling. The show that wound up touring just wasn't going to happen in any form on a festival stage.
I'd love Rihanna to do it. I just don't really see it, particularly in light of the Coachella news - and anyone still thinking it's likely on the basis of some dodgy press from a couple of years back - that doesn't really hold water when scrutinised - is likely to be left high and dry.
