Same for Paramore. Sold out the O2 and every other arena around for more than a decade and some people still question whether they would be one of the ‘big’ headliners. Laughable suggestion. Of course they would headline the whole thing.
Still remains bonkers, in part because very few surprises on that level seemed to then emerge at all over the rest of the tour. I wonder if, had he not been forced to break after Sunderland, the rhythms would have further changed.
Keep in mind that in 2016 they played for mostly Radiohead fans, where in '25 the crowd might be totally different depending on that day's headliner.
Loved that show as well, skipped the shadow puppets for a nice barrier spot and had a great time.
