NorthernSoul52
Inflation jokes ahoy! Wonder what was the record for the shortest trio of headline sets in festival history on the Pyramid? None of the three we think will likely push past ninety. Rose-Colored Boy
Would be disappointed if The 1975 got less than two hours.
NorthernSoul52
Would honestly imagine ninety-five is the cap.
JoBalls
Can anyone tell me why everyone’s so sure that it’s O-Rod, 1975 and Sam Fender as our three for 2025? Is it based on anything more than them being active, available and at about the right level to do it? Everyone here seems pretty certain it’s those three, but the efestivals website mentions “an act that didn’t quite make it last year” and a “legendary female” so I am feeling like I’ve missed something…

The S*n published an article claiming The 1975 were gonna headline Friday last week, which is almost as good as a TBC usually.

Rose-Colored Boy
Liv’s concert movie is 1hr40m. With a special guest and maybe a new single in the spring it’d make a tight 90 of wall to wall bangers.

But yes any number of people she could call on that are likely to be about if not.

Good luck trying to hide behind a band with his current voice. Christ on a bike. Oh well, excited to see what they put up against him or go for a lovely final Sunday wander before seeing Fender smash it out the park on the evening! Rod at least has good songs. Robbie doesn't. Whereas there’s a reason Rod’s setlists are padded out with a shitton of covers these days.

Badlands
Whilst Rod may plumb the depths of Sailing and Sexy, he’s still got loads more in the bag compared to Williams. RW has nothing close to the likes of Stay With Me, Maggie May or Pool Hall Richard

Kendrick similar in 22. 1975 can play 2 hours if they want. Olivia's show will have some changes to it anyway. Sam can do an hour 45. Is this the issue with "new" headliners that they must be able to play 3 hours or its not good? Edited November 26, 2024 by Suprefan

NorthernSoul52
Imagine no guests for The 1975, and possibly one apiece for Olivia Rodrigo and Sam Fender. Noah Kahan is the logical shout for the latter if present, though personally, I'd love for it to be Mark Knopfler for a romp through Sultans of Swing.
