They were very lucky in the sense they had two periods of success and big selling albums in different decades, in the 90s and then again in the late 2000s/early 2010s. Not many artists have that, adds a lot of cross generational appeal
Depends what you call big i guess - The Prodigy are definitely not filler but are also not really big either, but people would be happy i guess.
As said - tramlines really didn't need help selling Pulp!
If anything it would have made sense to announce victorious first as it would be the first uk pulp date, then sell tramlines as the homecoming. The fests are pretty far away too.
I reckon they cost a fairly similar amount to KOL to be honest. I don't think victorious would go for them to be honest - although not much different a booking to KOL
An acts latest tour being their highest grossing is pretty standard given inflation as well 🙂 would be a bit worrying if it wasn't
