brendan84
Baffled really by the neil young and the stevie wonder rumours a month or so back All time music legends / huge stars who have done it now so a one and done. Same with Beyonce and Adele, The stones, Dolly. Probably bruce. No ticket this year but he was immense back in 09, but not really got the same casual appeal either now with the Glastonbury attendees profile. But you also have big stars like Paul McCartney who've done it multiple times. Let Neil Young belong to that category.

But his music is about as vanilla as it gets.

WH or Woodsies will need someone dancey. Basement Jaxx on the former? Or ideally Overmono on the latter.

Not that fussed over 1975. Would be really pleased with Taylor ( seen her on Eras ) or Rhianna, or Duran or Neil Young. Stevie in 2010 was ok but he was pushing it then so might be a struggle at his age now although same could be said for Neil Young. 🤷♀️ At the end of the day there will be lots of options for headliners other than Pyramid. I'm 47 and out of touch with most of the 'pop' names that play Glastonburty now. Though the only way I knew them 20 years ago were through listening to Radio 1 and that type of stuff was never really for me. I've listend to Brat a couple of times though 🙂 Would be happy with Neil Young - though not sure how much of a crowd he'd get now, but there's not a rumoured headliner I'm desperate to see. NorthernSoul52
I just cannot fathom Neil Young accepting anything - particularly in band mode - below Pyramid headliner. It's not like Glastonbury has shedloads of money to throw at other people elsewhere on the bill either. (I do wonder how much GNR were in the end some days, namely because LDR reportedly got an absolute packet a year later to do a glorified sub session at R+L). charlierc
Feel like if we put our minds to it we could suggest another 4/5 names before the bill is revealed.

Not sure on this - Barry as far as I can tell is still touring on his first album - I can not see them getting him back to do the same show as this year on a different stage - I know this happen lower down the bill but not for a stage headliner - can deffo see him in line for a big slot at 2027 - Perhaps Underworld or Basement Jaxx? for a dance slot on WH also they are more Veteran acts compared to the relative youth of those they are up against Edited 15 hours ago by Ben7amin_

tickleyt
loyle carner is a hilariously bad booking, didnt even fill half of WH as a headliner, surely they can't be putting him top of the other?

I just feel that someone who shuts a stage down as he did this year is likely to be back the following year but I'm not sure what slot on what stage
