I've been convinced for the last 2+ years that Pulp would be doing Glastonbury in 2025 as it's the 30th anniversary of their legendary 1995 set... but the total lack of credible info over the last few months has been making me less sure!  However... we now know they are doing a few UK dates next year, one of which is Tramlines Festival, so I'm feeling more positive again!

I think they deserve a headline Pyramid slot... but I'd rather see them headline the Other Stage than do any daytime Pyramid slot.  And they are too big for Park or Woodsies I think.

Theyre really gonna go Underworld, Basement Jaxx and Prodigy on diff days on diff stages arent they. I mean if Im seeing one Pyramid headliner it was prob O Rod so Saturday is looking not too frustrating with the alternatives

I have strong hopes for underworld, they were epic at ally pally earlier this year.

Springsteen really would need to curate smarter if he ever did it again - and Sea.Hear.Now showed he can.

 

Boat gone on that. He'll be 77 by the time 2027 runs around and despite claims otherwise, I just can't see the E Street Band still being on the road then, at least not without going the Billy Joel route of two or three shows per month max.

Springsteen being in the vicinity every summer for 3 years and it not happening suggests no-one is sufficiently motivated to make it happen.

Sea.Hear.Now was nothing short of pure magic, i am so thankful that i got to experience that.

 

it was my first time going to that festival (only went for Bruce) but it is a fantastic event and seeing as i didn't get Glastonbury tickets i think i'll probably head back there instead.

 

i'm very lucky in that i have seen Bruce in Asbury Park a few times - but the Sea Hear Now show was just a level beyond my ability to express it.

 

i found Bruce in 2009 to be something of a disappointment and i hoped he'd not play Glastonbury again - however i would, of course, absolutely love to see him there again, and seeing as i wont be there he's bound to be there next year!

Another one who was distinctly underwhelmed by the Boss after seeing Shakey the night before. Didn't watch the seminal Blur gig, f**k knows what i was up to, probably Prodigy and a load of drugs hence why i don't recall. 

 

Plus you can't do all three nights at the Pyramid... sacrilege
