No they’re not just making it up but instead of journalism/having their own sources they just trawl sites like this throw them together tweak to make it more controversial/throw in popular names to get clicks. 
I bet quite a few on here have gone to look at the article.

They've probs pinched it from the discord which is where the news of Charli, O Rod, Chappell broke- not on here. 

 

It's also not beyond the realms of possibility that a national newspaper would hear some correct info for the country's biggest festival

So weird that they're claiming Rodrigo won't top. Quietly astonished, given how sure we've been she's the biggest lock of the lot, that they'd even go that route.

 

But I still feel unsure on Wonder and Young. The former, as we say, has to have BST in the back pocket too, and the latter mentioning rebooking a tour because of "health reasons" reads to me that he is a risk of a booking in that sense.

His issue is The Sun newspaper and he’s correct. This “newspaper” has spent decades lying and sh*t stirring. Their front page spread in April 1989 slandering 1000’s of football fans was a large part of the reason it took them around 30 years to get some form of justice over the Hillsborough disaster.

 

If I had my way any mention of that rag would be banned on this forum

If id seen the Prodigy about 20 times previously (as i have) and the headlining artist was "O-Rod" who i'd never seen before and really enjoy a lot of stuff off her first two albums.....

Just to clarify... The health reasons aren't truly health reasons, more health concerns.

 

Neil has been particularly cautious during and since COVID, and almost all dates played since have been outdoors due to the better ventilation. Someone asked him on NYA a few years ago if he'd ever tour Europe again and he said he would, but he'd play outdoor venues. He seems particularly cautious about Europe for some reason - I guess the early headlines probably didn't help...

 

The recent post on NYA seemed to suggest that a promoter had booked indoor venues too, and that the tour was being rescheduled to remove those and include more outdoor venues.

 

It's not fully clear why Neil is so apprehensive but it would be understandable that he doesn't want to pass anything on to family who have health challenges of their own.

 

Edited to add - 2024 date cancellations were believed to be due to health issues with Ralph and/or Billy from Crazy Horse. This seems to be confirmed by the fact Neil has spun up another band and has decided to keep playing. A real shame, I hope the other guys are doing well.

Absolutely love the prodigy and I’ve been hoping for a return for a while definately due an appearance so I’d be at them .. would be a great alternative for me , strength all round makes Glastonbury great although still not quite sure on other 2 nights

Hmm yeah maybe but not beyond the realms of possibility that they have a guy in there. Although all of what they are reporting is a week or 2 old now so maybe they don't.

For me I'm not bothered where an artists comes from if I like them but I've yet to catch O-Rod and I've seen The Prodigy a couple of times with Brixton coming up next week.
