I love Neil Young, and think he's 100% a headliner and anyone who tries to claim otherwise is comically mistaken.

 

But he isn't playing above Stevie Wonder.

Rumour is that they're moving the Pyramid Stage to the Other Field and the Other Stage will be in the Pyramid Field for one night only to accommodate the 250k + people who will be at Charli XCX.

I'm not.  A lot of the media palaver hasn't really translated into huge sales or her tour selling like hot-cakes.   Lots of headlines and think-pieces but someone like Sabrina Carpenter has done way bigger numbers in the UK.  Add another 12 months and Brat Summer will feel like an aeon away. 

 

SZA's streaming numbers dwarf Chazza and look how that worked out.

I swear she sold out her arena tour did she not? Can’t really use streaming numbers as a metric, ticket sales have to be the way to go.

SZA is not a good comparison as that was slow r&b, whereas Charli would attract all the partygoers on-site.

 

Though Other Stage closer still better than Pyramid.

Sold out but took months, whereas Sab Carp was adding extra shows when folk were still in enormous queues for the initial batch.

This is why I can see a little chance of Charli and Olivia clashing. I think two females would happen if it was like a Bonfide rather than a new again. They won't take the chance of SZA again even if the odds do seem different.

The festival want him clearly for a future headliner spot as they think he's got the longevity or he's the easy option with Fred pulling.

 

I think it's going to be The 1975, Olivia and Neil. The only way I see Fender is if 1975 had to pull
