That’s the trouble with such gigs. They can look good on paper, but that doesn’t always translate onto the stage. I remember a sense of being underwhelmed after Blur’s 1999 singles concert at Wembley Arena. No drama, little excitement, all my favourites played early doors (apart from a few), no natural climax to the gig.

I’m going to London #2, and I feel the same - safe in the knowledge that everytime I’ve seen him it tends to go into my top 20 gigs 

If Harry Styles ever headlines in the future, it'll be interesting to see the discussions pop up around him, given that he's far blander than 1975.

You could make a case for Michael Jackson being on the same level. Though infinitely less suitable as a Glastonbury headliner.

I have just requested a refund on a Campervan East General ticket, so there will be another one back in the pot soon for anyone still trying.
