Do you think I could fool the Facebook lot with this?

I've got about 9 bands on there but I don't think they would believe it. I think the font ans word quality looks fake.

I'd be astounded if The Prodigy took that placing on a 3rd main year touring. I wouldn't rule them out of returning to Parklife with RAR that weekend and given they are there on Friday they've got two days too.

Best and most realistic prediction so far. Would defo go based on this. I’m expecting quite a lot of those acts.

Subs and 2nd headliners are probably the biggest question marks at the minute. Between the 3 you’ve mentioned, IDLES, BFMV, Thirty Seconds To Mars, Slayer, Rob Zombie & Alice Cooper. Could even see Frank Carter & Sex Pistols taking one of the slots if they aren’t doing anything else in the UK. Outside chance of an Avril or Weezer exclusive to sub Green Day.

You could fool them if you'd scribbled some bands down on a napkin so with this you definitely could.

They wouldn't believe it though because where is Slipknot and Iron Maiden because they're definitely playing.

I'd put Rise Against as a logo myself but other than that a very believable line up, and one I'd be over the moon with

Agreed on Rise Against. If Hollywood Undead and Airbourne are logo bands they definitely are. It's more how much Green Day costing has pushed either them or JEW into 3rd.

Logo bands aren't necessarily the biggest. I would say 4th down on main is bigger than 3rd or 4th stage headliner and about level with 2nd stage sub. However those are all logo bands but 4th down on main isn't.

No I know, but I have thought Rise Against were bigger there almost any of those in that section with them.

Can anyone remember last year was the line-up poster leaked before the announcement or was it just the name of the Headliners?

And was it a couple of days or couple of weeks before?

Thanks in advance

both, the lineup poster got leaked the evening before it was officially announced, and the headliners were known the weekend before

So...

Sleep Token, Korn and Green Day tipped for this year's line up.

Others mentioned (possible) Slipknot, Maiden, Biffy, MCR, Prodigy, Linkin Park.

Any other curveballs suggested?

There's no curveballs, it's GD,ST & Korn

Ghost / LP / Maiden is a very solid bet IMO.

I feel that would just be getting a headline back on their same tour a few years later that you already had them on. They've played the UK, Download 22, UK 23, 24 off, 25 on and if 26. That's 4 years out of 5 touring the UK.

I don't see Green Day agreeing to do it making any of the others people thought never would do it. They'll probably try for MCR again but I can't see them not having Maiden if they fancy it.

More likely than Slipknot though considering they are doing festivals now and 25th show that incorporate Knotfest etc in places.
