I remember being in the front pen from NBT until the Killers and out of curiosity watched him instead of KennyHoopla and Joey Valance and Brae, big mistake, never felt so disappointed in an act, no one was having fun, everyone was just stood there miserably singing his songs and the "moshpits" were dire, worst of all there's a video on YouTube of me trying to mosh in on of them and its unbelievably cringe

Not sure unfortunately! I reckon they'll still have 6 and Central Cee will be on first, but that's just me guessing.

No problem. Was thinking the same, Central Cee being one of our 3 main headliners would be dire and just scream that Foos took all the money.

a mosh pit to central cee is unbelievably cringe full stop to be fair.

I’m finding there’s more and more acts at R&L where I’m stood there thinking wtf, he was possibly the standout example. The kids who pack into the front pit don’t even look like they enjoy it, just get in for the vibes and to put on snapchat.

Very cool looking poster but it would genuinely be the worst R&L lineup for me since I started going in 2010. Awful. I can’t see Hozier being a big headliner, more likely for Glastonbury, I should think.

Not as much as it was a few years ago - UK rap is pretty much nonexistent in the charts aside from Dave and Central Cee.

 

Headie One’s fall has been crazy, his debut album in 2020 got to #1, but his follow up this year only managed #52.

 

And even Central’s singles aren’t as big as they were, his new collab with RAYE barely scraped the Top 40.

I think this would actually sell decently in general (although there is no way Hozier is the main headliner - just swap with 21 pilots and it would be better i think)

If Rodrigo isn't topping Glastonbury, this might not be too far off a theoretical top six.

 

Didn't think Hozier would be big enough. Before this summer, wouldn't have though Charli XCX either, but she's done the miles to make it work.

This is sick, I’m very disillusioned with R&L at the moment but I’d get a ticket for this 100%. The Foos day is incredibly stacked.

Yup, it’s sadly far too good to ever come to pass

 

Its the kind of thing that was manageable 2008-14ish but there’s too much competition in the U.K. to allow something like this at a non Glastonbury festival in 2025
